Active Perineural Neuromodulation Acupuncture
One-Day APN Workshop | Morning Instruction and Afternoon Clinical Practice
A concentrated workshop teaching the core Active Perineural Neuromodulation method.
Following morning instruction and demonstration, participants apply the method under direct supervision with selected volunteer patients.

Straightforward Host Pricing
Two-Day Integrative Diagnosis Class
$4,800 for up to 20 participants
Participants 21 through 30: $100 per additional participant

One-Day APN Acupuncture Workshop
$2,300 for up to 20 participants
Participants 21 through 30: $50 per additional participant

One-Day Auricular Therapy Workshop

Seeds, magnets, gold-plated pellets, and other materials required for supervised practice are included.
Travel
One flat travel buyout is added to the program fee:
- Continental United States: $350 for one-day workshops. $700 for two-day classes.
- Outside the continental United States: $1,500
The travel buyout covers standard transportation, lodging, ground transportation, meals, and ordinary travel-related expenses for the engagement.
Institutions whose procurement policies require direct travel booking or documented expense reimbursement may request an equivalent actual-expense arrangement.
Professional Association Honorarium Option
Many professional associations, medical organizations, acupuncture associations, and nonprofit educational conferences have established speaker honorarium policies. When an organization has a standard honorarium structure and provides lodging and conference meals, Dr. Williams may accept the organization’s established honorarium in place of the standard teaching rate.
When lodging and conference meals are provided, the travel and lodging allowance may be reduced by 50%.
This option is intended for professional association conferences, symposiums, nonprofit educational events, and medical organizations with existing speaker compensation policies. It does not automatically apply to private hosted courses, customized group trainings, or events where Dr. Williams is the primary instructor for the full program.
Private or Open Registration
Programs may be offered privately to an organization’s employees or members, or the host may open registration to outside professionals.
For open-registration programs, the host organization:
- Determines the attendee tuition
- Collects and retains registration revenue
- Manages registrations and refunds
- Promotes the program locally
- Provides the final participant roster
The host’s financial responsibility is limited to the contracted program fee, travel buyout, and any previously approved additional expenses.
What Dr. Williams Provides
The standard program fee includes:
- Professional instruction for the contracted program
- One pre-event planning meeting
- Course agenda and program description
- Instructor biography and promotional information
- Standard presentation and teaching materials
- Participant learning materials
- Attendance and evaluation documents when applicable
- Continuing-education documentation when Dr. Williams serves as the approved provider
- Certificates of completion or approved continuing-education certificates, as applicable
- Materials used during the auricular workshop
- Coordination of the instructional and clinical portions of the program
- Direct communication regarding travel and program logistics
What the Host Provides
The host organization provides:
- An appropriate classroom or professional teaching venue
- Tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment
- Treatment tables and suitable clinical-practice space when required
- Local promotion and participant registration
- Verification that participants meet professional eligibility requirements
- Morning, afternoon, and meal-break arrangements
- A final participant roster
- On-site contact and basic logistical support
For APN workshops, the host also assists with identifying appropriate volunteer patients and providing suitable treatment space. Patient suitability, informed consent, privacy, and clinical participation requirements are reviewed before the workshop.
Programs with more than 20 participants may require additional lab support. Any staffing requirement will be identified before the agreement is finalized.
Continuing-Education Information
Integrative Diagnosis and Acupuncture for Chronic Conditions and Neurological Presentations is approved by NCBAHM for 16 continuing-education units:
- 14 Acupuncture
- 2 Safety
When Dr. Williams serves as the continuing-education provider, standard attendance, evaluation, and CEU/PDA, and certificate documentation are included.
Conferences or organizations using their own continuing-education approval system may manage their own applications and reporting.
Continuing-education availability for the one-day workshops is confirmed separately for each engagement.
The Hosting Process
1. Select a Program
Review the available class and workshop descriptions and choose the program that best fits your audience.
2. Submit an Inquiry
Provide your location, preferred dates, estimated enrollment, venue information, and continuing-education needs.
3. Confirm Availability
You will receive confirmation of availability, the complete program fee, travel arrangements, and any program-specific requirements.
4. Sign the Agreement
A written training-services agreement confirms the date, program, fees, payment schedule, responsibilities, cancellation terms, and recording permissions.
A 50% booking retainer reserves the date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the program.
5. Prepare for the Program
An online planning meeting is scheduled to review registration, venue setup, teaching materials, volunteer patients when applicable, and final logistics.
Recording and Educational Materials
Course content, presentations, manuals, illustrations, and instructional methods remain the intellectual property of Dr. Jennifer Williams and Wood Element.
Full recording, livestreaming, reproduction, resale, or distribution of the program is not included in the standard host fee.
Still photography and brief promotional video may be permitted with prior written approval and appropriate participant and patient consent.
About Dr. Jennifer Williams
Dr. Jennifer Williams, PhD, DACM, L.Ac., is a licensed acupuncturist, clinician, educator, and course developer with professional experience spanning more than 20 years.
She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a PhD in Counseling Studies and Research. She has served as adjunct doctoral faculty and course developer at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences, clinic supervisor at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, and an acupuncturist within Interdisciplinary Pain Management at Womack Army Medical Center.
Dr. Williams has taught and presented through professional schools, universities, hospitals, state and national acupuncture programs, Duke University, the Pacific Symposium, and multiple international conferences at Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine in China.
Her clinical and educational work focuses on chronic pain, neuropathy, stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological dysfunction, complex internal medicine, and the development of practical diagnostic and acupuncture methods for patients whose progress has plateaued.
She is licensed in North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee and is an approved NCBAHM continuing-education provider.
