WELLNESS
Wellness can be looked at on a spectrum that can change over time. That time can be a narrow window or a journey. An unexpected event can throw you off course. Resiliency can contribute to how you proceed.
PREVENTION
I have experienced a range of illness and health challenges that have influenced the way I see the world. I suffered greatly as a young girl. How I managed to cope with a variety of challenges includes information from higher sources, taking risks, and luck. While suffering may help people develop, I see excess suffering as unnecessary and often preventable.
Kelp-Based Iodine – The body does not make it. A deficiency in iodine can be the basis for cysts, especially in females since estrogen depletes stores of iodine. Iodine is needed to make the thyroid hormones, which assist with the creation of proteins and enzyme activity, as well as regulating normal metabolism. The multi-mineral I recommend under General Recommendations includes kelp-based iodine. For more information, visit the source of this statement.

Potassium Iodine – a chemical compound that can protect the thyroid gland from possible radiation injury caused by radioactive iodine (radioiodine). Some radiological emergencies may release large amounts of radioiodine to the environment. For more information, visit the source of this statement.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
For most of my population, I recommend supplements for overall health. I have included affiliated links for ease space. I have also included videos from Dr. Barbera O’Neil.

FOOD
I grow easy stuff. I use Fox Farms products to help build the dirt and feed my plants. I shop at Aldis because it is a bargain, and my body handles the produce better. I also shop at Asian markets, such as HMart. There is how to eat and there is what to eat. For health conditions, look up signs and symptoms in this book for guidance:

I do not like many vegetables and these days many are considered harmful due to being genetically modified (GMO) or having round up (glyphosate) sprayed on them. The result of GMO allows more glyphosate to be sprayed each year as the weeds become more resistant. My theory is that this has caused the defense mechanisms of the plants to increase. One defense mechanism is shard-like materials in many plants.
DIGESTIVE CHALLENGES
Oxalic acid is a natural compound in many vegetables, nuts, fruits, and grains that can inhibit the absorption of nutrients and is a common element of kidney stones. Many people are developing sensitivity to oxalates, especially those who have difficulty methylating, or breaking stuff down. In fact, it appears that many people are developing a change in MTHFR, which makes it difficult to detox and prevent clots.
MTHFR – Methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) is a gene that makes an enzyme in your body that converts folate from food or supplement to an “active” folate your body can use. Almost every cell in your body requires active folate to function properly. Some people have a gene that slows down their MTHFR enzyme, which impacts ability to detox, prevent blood clots, and digest properly. This is thought to be a genetic disorder passed down from a parent, but I am seeing more signs of this in clinic. Common impacts include infertility, headaches, childhood behavior disorders, allergies, chemical sensitivities, poor gut health, trouble detoxing, sleep issues, hormonal conditions, and cardiovascular challenges.
MTHFR and COVID – I posit that exposure to covid may be altering MTHFR, or other similar functions. A recent systematic review “demonstrated a possible association between the MTHFR gene variants and COVID-19 severity, thromboembolic events, and adverse events following vaccination.”
