Integrative Diagnosis and Acupuncture for Chronic Conditions and Neurological Presentations

Two-Day Class | 16 NCBAHM CEUs | Hands-On Clinical Training

  • Chronic pain and neuropathy
  • Stroke and post-stroke complications
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Spinal cord injury

One-Day APN Acupuncture Workshop

Active Perineural Neuromodulation: Core Clinical Method

One-Day, In-Person Workshop | Supervised Clinical Practice | Licensed Acupuncturists

This concentrated workshop teaches the core Active Perineural Neuromodulation—or APN—acupuncture method.

APN is a precision, feedback-guided acupuncture approach designed to improve neurological function through direct engagement of peripheral nerve and neurovascular structures.

During the first half of the workshop, participants learn:

  • Core APN treatment principles
  • Identification of neurovascular access sites
  • Needle angle, depth, direction, and clinical intent
  • Recognition of tissue and patient feedback
  • Treatment sequencing and reassessment
  • Safety considerations for neurological presentations

After lunch, volunteer patients who may benefit from the method join the workshop. Participants then apply the technique under direct supervision, providing immediate clinical experience and an opportunity to observe and evaluate patient responses in real time.

This workshop is designed for practitioners who want focused training in the APN method without attending the complete two-day Integrative Diagnosis class.
