Rapid Diagnosis and Advanced Acupuncture
Complex chronic and neurological conditions rarely fit neatly within a single diagnosis or medical discipline. This two-day, 16-hour class gives licensed healthcare professionals a structured method for identifying the primary physiological mechanisms contributing to these complicated presentations. Rather than treating each symptom separately, participants learn how to determine what may be limiting function, interfering with recovery, or causing a patient’s progress to plateau.
The course brings together contemporary neuroanatomy and physiology with the diagnostic depth of Chinese medicine, translated into clear language that supports interdisciplinary understanding. Clinical assessment focuses on mechanisms such as:
- Peripheral nerve dysfunction and neurovascular compression
- Mechanical and fluid-mediated tissue pressure
- Impaired circulation and connective-tissue restriction
- Autonomic and systemic dysregulation
- Interactions among neurological, metabolic, digestive, and inflammatory processes
Participants learn the Rapid Integrative Diagnosis Method, a practical framework for organizing complex information, identifying treatment priorities, and developing a logical sequence of care.
For licensed practitioners whose professional scope includes acupuncture, the hands-on portion introduces Active Perineural Neuromodulation—or APN. APN is a precision, feedback-guided acupuncture method that engages peripheral nerve and neurovascular structures to address pain, spasticity, impaired movement, and neurological dysfunction. Participants learn how needle location, angle, depth, direction, clinical intent, patient feedback, and reassessment influence treatment.
The course is particularly relevant to professionals working with chronic pain, neuropathy, stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, vestibular or cranial nerve dysfunction, autonomic dysregulation, and complex cases that have not progressed as expected.
Licensed medical and rehabilitation professionals who do not perform acupuncture may benefit from the diagnostic framework, neurological mechanisms, clinical demonstrations, and interdisciplinary treatment concepts. Hands-on needling is limited to participants whose licensure and professional scope authorize acupuncture.
